Phillip started his career as an eBusiness and marketing strategist for various startups and companies where he led large teams for numerous Internet industry products that now drive the industry groups/ concepts and that became the backbone of the Internet. These include American Express, IBM and Pfizer. Startups include Gigex Games sold to AOL Games, Sixdegrees, ESND, TheStreet.com, Anatomic Travelogue, Moving.com sold to Move Inc, Relegence sold to AOL and Omnipod sold to MessageLabs.
He has taught Comparative Cinema: Asian and African at New School University, marketing and design visiting critic at Parsons School of Design and Rhode Island School of Design. He trains corporate clients, offers talks, workshops and classes at public conferences, private seminars and universities.
Phillip holds a Masters in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), USA, an Architecture degree from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and an Advanced Certificate in Investment banking: Sales & Trading from New York University. Through RISD he studied semesters at Brown University and Harvard Business School.
